Bennett Creative is a production company based in central Austin, TX. We produce fun & colorful videos, photography and animation for a variety of businesses both local and national. We are about to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and have been growing quickly. In the last year, we have been lucky to work with national brands such as Tito’s, Schwinn, Dell, Indeed, Kendra Scott, Tesla, and Intel.

We are hiring a contract Marketing Assistant, starting February 13, 2023 for a 3-month contract. The starting hourly rate is $22/hour.


Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about social media and marketing. We want someone with a high degree of professionalism and organization, but who also has fun with their work. Marketing is supposed to be fun.


Your main focus would be marketing, but we are also a small business so we wear many hats. We need someone with a degree of flexibility, but our small size means also mean ample opportunities for you to learn new skills like: photography, video, motion graphics, animation, screenwriting, sales. After all, these are the activities that we are engaged with on a daily basis.


You would be reporting directly to the Executive Director, who has been responsible for our marketing efforts until now. We would quickly get you up to speed with what has worked for us in the past, but we would also love to hear suggestions from you about new directions to take our marketing efforts.

  • Manage social media accounts, posting videos, photos, Reels, Stories & TikTok’s several times a week to various social media channels.

  • Write newsletters from a template and publish monthly newsletter and new subscriber emails. Maintain our audiences and groups.

  • Shoot behind the scenes photos & video at our video shoots and photo shoots.

  • Update Wix and Wordpress website with new project pages from a template

  • Assist with in-house shooting & editing content for our YouTube channel

  • Optimize, maintain & report on current advertising campaigns

  • Manage industry email campaigns

  • Write blogs for website - ChatGPT can be your friend in that



  • You must be passionate about social media and marketing.

  • Must have skills & style with creating Reels and TikTok videos

  • Must have some experience writing & publishing newsletters, bonus points for knowing the Mailchimp platform

  • Must have some experience with photography and enjoy photography

  • Must have your own car and valid drivers license\

  • Must be legally allowed to work in the United States

  • Must be well-versed in Mac OS a general fluency in the Adobe Suite



  • Some experience with graphic design

  • Some experience with Wix and Wordpress

  • Some experience with online advertising platforms: Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Some experience with sales and customer service



  • We will be reaching out to 10-15 candidates for a first round interview on Zoom.

  • We will be reaching out to 3-5 candidates for an in-person interview

  • You will be highly evaluated on your current social media and marketing portfolios. We are also looking for people that are professional, cheerful, and have an eagerness to learn.

  • $22/hour, 40 hours/week, for 3-months.
