Makerspace Photo and Video Shoot

Video Production for Austin Makerspace

We were excited link up with Asmbly Makerspace in East Austin! They were about to redo their whole website, so the campaign's goal was to capture photos, videos and GIFs to use from top to bottom on the website, and on social media. We had a blast working on this project, not only because the visuals were amazing (see flying sparks) but because the Asmbly staff and members were so fun and easy to work with. If you're looking for a creator community in Austin, definitely check out Asembly.

Turnkey Photo & GIF Content Production

Bennett Creative did a turnkey production with video, motion graphics and photography assets delivered. We handled concepting, scripting and casting. Then we brought our grip van and crew over to the Asembly site for a full day of filming and photography. Once the shoot was concluded, we brought the footage back to our Austin headquarters on S. Lamar to provide full post-production support through retouching, editing, motion graphics, sound design and color. Thank you to the awesome staff and crew that helped make this project a success. Congratulations, Asembly on your new website launch!

Non-profit organizations often operate with limited resources and rely heavily on public support to fulfill their missions. In today's digital age, where attention spans are shorter and visual content dominates online platforms, good video production has become essential for non-profits to effectively communicate their message, engage their audience, and drive action. Here are several reasons why non-profits need good video production.

Storytelling: Video is a powerful medium for storytelling. Through compelling visuals, music, and narration, non-profits can evoke emotions and convey their mission in a way that resonates deeply with viewers. A well-produced video can humanize complex issues, making them more relatable and compelling to a broader audience.

Increased Reach and Engagement: With the rise of social media and video-sharing platforms, video content has become highly shareable and can reach a wide audience quickly. Non-profits can leverage video to engage with existing supporters and attract new ones, increasing awareness and participation in their cause.

Educational Content: Non-profits often aim to raise awareness about important social, environmental, or health issues. Video allows them to educate the public in an engaging and accessible format. Whether it's explaining the impact of their work, sharing success stories, or providing informative content, video production enables non-profits to effectively convey their message and inspire action.

Fundraising: Video can be a powerful tool for fundraising campaigns. By showcasing the impact of donations and telling stories of those helped by their programs, non-profits can inspire donors to contribute. High-quality videos that effectively communicate the urgency and importance of their cause can significantly increase fundraising efforts.

Building Trust and Transparency: Good video production can help non-profits build trust with their audience by providing transparency into their operations, showcasing their impact, and demonstrating accountability. By giving supporters a behind-the-scenes look at their work and the people they serve, non-profits can foster stronger connections and long-term relationships.

Good video production is essential for non-profits to effectively communicate their mission, engage supporters, raise awareness, and drive action. By investing in high-quality video content, non-profits can maximize their impact and reach in today's digital landscape.

Good photography is essential for non-profit organizations as it serves as a visual storytelling tool, effectively conveying their mission, impact, and needs to a broader audience. Here are several reasons why non-profits need good photography.

Visual Storytelling: Just like video, photography is a powerful medium for storytelling. Compelling images have the ability to evoke emotions, capture attention, and communicate complex narratives in a single frame. Non-profits can use photography to showcase the people they serve, the challenges they face, and the positive outcomes of their work, making their mission more tangible and relatable to supporters.

Brand Building and Recognition: Consistent and high-quality photography can help non-profits establish a strong brand identity and increase recognition among their target audience. Through carefully curated images that reflect their values and mission, non-profits can differentiate themselves in a crowded landscape, build trust with stakeholders, and attract supporters who resonate with their cause.

Engagement and Awareness: In today's visually driven world, captivating images are more likely to grab the attention of potential supporters than text alone. By sharing compelling photographs on social media, websites, and marketing materials, non-profits can increase engagement, reach a wider audience, and raise awareness about their cause and the issues they address.

Advocacy and Influence: Photography can be a powerful tool for advocacy, shedding light on social injustices, environmental issues, and humanitarian crises. Non-profits can use photographs to advocate for policy change, mobilize public support, and amplify the voices of marginalized communities. Images have the ability to spark empathy and inspire action, making them essential for driving social change.

Donor Relations and Fundraising: Visual storytelling through photography can strengthen relationships with donors by showing them the impact of their contributions. By sharing images that highlight the tangible results of their support, non-profits can foster a sense of pride and connection among donors, leading to increased loyalty and continued giving.

Good photography is indispensable for non-profits as it helps them effectively communicate their mission, engage supporters, raise awareness, advocate for change, and strengthen donor relationships. By investing in high-quality photography, non-profits can maximize their impact and reach in an increasingly visual world.
