Shy Beast has released its final single, “Forever,” from their self-titled EP in the form of a winsomely animated, live-action music video. The video features bandleader Mariclaire Gamble interacting with different cosmic elements as she delivers a dynamic vocal performance.

The video was directed by Andrew Bennett & animated by Dorothy Bennett of Austin-based video production company, Bennett Creative. Andrew also serves as guitar player for the band.

 

The inspiration behind the graphic style came from conversations between Dorothy & Mariclaire about their mutual love for Studio Ghibli films like Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.
